I've been a cast iron user for years. I have Smithey cast iron and now Smithey carbon steel. I am really loving my Carbon Steel farmhouse skillet. It is much lighter in weight than the cast iron and performs just as well. I also love the beauty of the carbon steel. Smithey will be the cookware that I pass down to my grandchildren. LOVE it.
